Who We Are

DESIGN for MACHA is born in 2016. DESIGN for MACHA has become synonymous of the finest and rarest lighting which adorn the most recognised and famous Interior Designers and Architects. More than four years on, DESIGN for MACHA mastering and driving force behind this fabled friend venture. DESIGN for MACHA is becoming one of the most influential and respected player in the mid-century Italian lighting design known for unerring instinct, dedication and passion.

From Angelo Lelli to Gio Ponti, from Ignazio Gardella to Luiggi Caccia Dominioni, from Gino Sarfatti to Ettore Sottsass, DESIGNforMACHA is constantly exploring the prolofic design period from 1920 to 1980. DESIGNforMACHA understand like nobody the Italian lighting mid-century design and how it can transform interiors. DESIGNforMACHA is giving to mid century design a new place in today's world. This translates into creations that will never age or go out of fashion and that will only gain in value as they pass from one generation to the next.

Each lamp is numbered and inventoried. This is the prerequisite to guarantee the level of excellence and exclusivity that we want to bring to our customers. Brass is a noble and warm alloy, with exceptional charm and characteristics in terms of malleability and ductility. The workshop bring know-how to each stage of the production : foundry, chielsing, turning, mounting, polishing, surface treatment. Detail-focused, artisanal production ensures that every creation is simple, sophisticated and unique.
