Certifications

	UL Certification UL Listing means that UL has tested representative samples of a product and determined that the product meets specific, defined requirements. These requirements are often based on UL's published and nationally recognized Standards for Safety.
	Title 24 compliant Title 24 requires that either occupancy or vacancy sensor is used to reduce energy usage in non-residential buildings. Occupancy sensors must be automatic and programmed to adjust lighting loads in accordance with the activity of a space.

 

Forte Lighting, Inc. warrants its products against structural defects only, from one (1) year of shipment. The finish of our product is warranted for six (6) months after the date of shipment. Products that are stored or used in extremely damp or salty air locations and/or conditions, which include, but are not limited to, intense sunlight, high winds, or acid rain, where the product tends to tarnish easily, are warranted three (3) months from date of shipment. Forte Lighting, Inc. will replace, at our discretion, products that fail to operate structurally, within the warranty does not cover products that were improperly installed or those in which parts have been tampered with or changed. The compliance of our product to project specifications and approval for their use is not warranted by our company. Product sold as “Discontinued” or “Close-Out”, is not warranted by our company and is not returnable. Forte Lighting, Inc. will not be responsible or liable to the buyer, its’ agents employees, or any third party for the cost incurred in the removal or reinstallation of any incidental damages resulting in loss of use, loss of revenue. Loss of profit, arising out of, or in connection with natural disaster, catastrophe, fault, or negligence of the user or any third party, including without limitation, shipping, and/or damage. Except as stated herein, there are no warranties expressed or implied. The warranty period begins on the date of shipment from Forte Lighting, Inc.

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
