Metal Finishes

Silver Tones

Polished Silver is polished and then given a jeweler's buff. The result is a mirror-like finish that is the standard by which others are measured in the industry. Satin Pewter is a soft, smooth, matte finish while the Brushed Stainless and Brushed Nickel are polished with a coarse grit to give texture and dimension.

Iron Tones

Iron is a black nickel plated finish, highlighted to give the effect of natural iron, and finished with a flat matte lacquer. Charcoal is a very dark oxidized brass that is nearly black. It is also flattened but does not lose its metallic feel or appearance.

Brass Tones

Polished Brass is polished and buffed by hand to yield a mirror-like finish. French Brass is black-nickel plated, then rubbed away, leaving highlights in crevices and filigrees. The result is a product that is lightly antiqued brass with dark accents. Antique Brass is oxidized and highlighted leaving a darkened brass which is then given a protective gloss lacquer coat. Harvest Bronze is a lightly oxidized brass that is lightly burnished, flattened, and hand-rubbed leaving a metallic glow.

Bronze Tones

Mahogany Bronze is the deepest of these finishes and, in certain reflections, will reflect hints of purple and red. Siena Bronze is oxidized copper that is highlighted to draw out the light copper tones.

Raw Copper

Raw Copper has been washed in an acid bath so to initiate the natural oxidation process. Because it is not lacquered this finish will mature with age and emanate soft rust tones.

Warranty

Limited Warranty: All materials and component parts are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of one year from date of sale. The liability is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of such parts by Framburg where, in their opinion, damage is caused by defect and not misuse or incorrect installation.

Please note that free-hanging and some wall-mount fixtures may not be suitable for high wind areas. The liability is limited to such repair or replacement being made at Framburg. Freight charged to and from Framburg will be borne by the purchaser.

No claims for labor or other charges at the job-site will be allowed, unless specifically authorized in writing by Framburg. This warranty is automatically voided if any unauthorized repairs or alterations are made. Framburg finishes will darken with age. This process may accelerate when exposed to extreme sun or moisture.

Cleaning and Care: All Framburg glass needs to be cleaned by hand with dish soap. No hard abrasives for example: soft soap, bleach, etc. All metal components need to be cleaned with a soft moist (water) cloth. Do Not Use: Brasso, Windex, Pledge, etc.

Shipping & Returns

Order Confirmation:

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as you place your order. After that, we double-check if all items ordered are in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your order is available for the delivery within the advertised time frame, we will submit it for shipment to the warehouse. If the expected delivery time exceeds the advertised time frame, we'll reach out to you via email and/or phone to confirm the order.

Order Shipment:

You will receive an email confirmation with tracking number within 1 business day from the time the item has been shipped. If you would not receive tracking information within 10 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with our customer service team.

Estimated Time of Arrival:

We typically deliver within 2-10 business days. Custom made products are usually delivered within 4-12 weeks. If the expected delivery date for your order would fall outside of the advertised 2-10 business day time frame, our customer service team will reach out to you to confirm if you are OK with that date.

Areas Covered:

All estimated delivery dates and shipping costs advertised on the website apply the the contiguous United States only (the Lower 48 and D.C.). Please contact our customer service team to discuss the time and cost of shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, or the U.S. territories. We don't ship internationally, but we can ship your order to a freight forwarder of your choice.

Damages:

It is critical that you inspect the packaging of all items when they arrive and check if you received all boxes listed on the delivery receipt. If you notice any damage or shortage of packages, you must make a note of it on the bill of lading, take pictures, and refuse delivery. Your note should say "refused due to damage". If there are no damages visible before opening the box, you must note "subject to further inspection may contain concealed damage". By signing a freight delivery without making any notes, you accept the product as it is and release the seller from any liability. If you notice any damage after receiving the delivery, do not throw the box away, and contact us with the photos of all sides of the packaged goods within 2 business days. We cannot process your claim if you fail to send images within 2 business days. After we receive information from you about the refused delivery or concealed damage, we immediately initiate a claim with the shipping company or with the manufacturer. After the claim is fully processed, we ship all replacements at absolutely no cost to you.

Cancellations & Returns:

We can cancel your order at absolutely no cost to you before the shipping label or Bill of Lading has been created, or before production of a custom order has started. Custom made items are not eligible for cancellations or returns after production has started. You can return all non-custom made items within 30 days of delivery, except when noted otherwise on their product page. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also remain in the original packaging, and the packaging must be in perfect resellable condition. The cost of shipping the product both ways (to the customer, and back to the warehouse) and a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. Orders delivered outside the United States are not eligible for refunds. If your order arrived damaged, "Damages" section applies. Please contact us before returning your order to discuss shipping details. All refunds will be issued to the credit card you used for your purchase within 2 days after all returned items arrived at the warehouse. If a credit card refund is not possible, we will issue a direct deposit.
