Venezian Collection

Murano’s most important expression are the Venetian chandeliers, the origin of lighting on the Venetian Island, when these objects were l made with candles before the arrival of electricity.
At the time they illuminated the Doge’s palace and the houses of the Venetian nobles, but today they are destined for the most beautiful houses around the world.
Also in this collection, as in the Re-editions, time has stopped, time does not count. Those who choose these products know that they do it forever, just as their parents and the previous generation did. In fact, very often these chandeliers are included in the heredity of families.
The Venetian chandeliers in our collection, apparently similar to each other, are very different, and can be grouped into 2 eras:

  • The 1700s, or the classics, composed of flowers, leaf , gold or crystal decorated gold ; those that never change, such as the blue blazer jacket in fashion. These lamps are destined to classic homes, but not only, they also fit perfectly in a modern contemporary setting, to give a unique mood to the ambient and originality to the environment.
  • The Contemporary: in Mazzega 1946 we thought about the possibility of inserting Venetian chandeliers in contemporary metropolitan homes, thinking about these objects in a modern way. We have in fact made it more minimal, removing the elements that make it classic, like the flowers, the leaves and the gold, but without changing its identity, and remaining faithful to its origin, these chandeliers are vey popular today.
